January Movie List
1. Say Anything
2. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
3. The Lawnmower Man
My January list is even smaller than December. Luckily, The Lawnmower Man fits into the 1992 list. I've always thought the movie had something to do with Stephen King but apparently the movie is unrelated to his book. Except for some key scenes and ideas, the movie is utterly terrible. It reeks of B-movie. How did parts of the script manage to stay in there? Death by telepathically controlled lawnmower, for example. But here's some cool trivia: it looks like the explosion at the VSI center was the inspiration for the Matrix lobby explosion. Close Encounters was amazing but after watching Say Anything, next month will be a Cameron Crowe-fest.

My pathetic list for December
1 Baraka
2. The Two Towers
3. Jackass: The Movie
4. Swingers
Baraka is a wicked awesome movie. I've actually seen the thing about 4 times by now. There's this great scene showing a huge chicken farm. They show you the entire assembly line process of how a newly born chick gets inspected, processed, and marked to become an egg producer.
